Tom & Marilyn traveled to Richmond to spend a weekend with Mike & Michelle and see the sites of the "Capitol of the Confederacy".

Mary Catherine and her friend Adam Black joined us on Saturday and met us at Mike & Michelle's apartment.

The better part of that day was spent visiting the more popular tourist sites.

Mike's favorite eating spot for breakfast is "Millie's" Diner and on Sunday morning we all "pigged-out" at Millie's.

In downtown Richmond, the city fathers have developed a tributary of the James River and are attempting to make the canal a tourist attraction like the San Antonio Riverwalk.

The James River flows right through the middle of Richmond.

It's a small two-room place surrounded by narrow alleys and numerous hanging plants and flowers.

It's small, but clean and cozy and is all the room Mike needs.
